DESCRIPTION:Are you planning to become a certified pesticide applicator in 
 2025? \n\n\nJoin us for an in-depth review of topics covered on the NYS DE
 C pesticide applicator certification exam. This exam preparation course in
 cludes explanations of key concepts on the core exam\, DEC exam procedures
 \, test-taking tips for the core and category exams\, practice questions\,
  and Q&A with instructors and our DEC region 5 representative. \n\n\nThis 
 training is geared toward certification categories 1A (agricultural plant)
 \, 21 (field and forage)\, 22 (fruit)\, and 23 (vegetable). If enough inte
 rest\, DEC will hold an exam at this location in February for course parti
 cipants.\n\n\nParticipants are encouraged to obtain a Core Certification T
 raining Manual for Pesticide Applicators and Technicians and appropriate c
 ategory manual from the Cornell Store prior to taking the exam. These manu
 als are not required for the preparation course \,but are needed to prepar
 e to take the exam after the course. Manuals can be purchased from https:/
