This April, Orozco Gallery will open its doors at 115 S Cayuga St, Downtown Ithaca, for the second year as a pop-up space for creativity, connection, and cultural celebration. Featuring artist talks, live music, dance, family-friendly storytelling, and more. This community-driven space invites all ages to gather in a welcoming, sober environment to celebrate the transformative power of art.

Curated, Organized, & Founded by Yen Ospina (Orozco Gallery), this series features in-person artist talks paired with hands-on mini workshops — an engaging way to learn directly from artists, connect through storytelling, and explore creativity together.

Workshops are great for all ages and skill levels.
Most events are free or sliding scale (cash or Venmo accepted).
Non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase – cash only.
Tables, chairs, and supplies are provided for workshops.
♿ The venue is handicap accessible.

Parking Info:
Free street parking after 6PM

  • Closest streets: S Cayuga St, S Albany St, N Plain & W Buffalo
  • Green Street Garage (next to Cinemapolis) – $1/hr
  • Residential zones are often free further out
  • Weekends = free street parking after 6pm
  • Double check for weekday 2-hour parking limits on signs

Some events are required RSVP so the artists knows how much supplies they must have ready. You can always pay at the door, please bring cash! 

This month-long series is organized and founded by community maker, curator, and activist Yen Ospina in collaboration with the Latino Civic Association of Tompkins County, with support from the Greenstar Co+Op with our opening reception catering from JoJo Cook, volunteers from ALPFA Cornell Student Organization, & Latina/o Studies Program at Cornell University. - in memory of Debra Castillo
