The exhibition Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation at 150 includes Cornell University’s unique original manuscript copy of proclamation signed by Lincoln, and a variety of other materials including several printed versions and related Civil War era engravings.

Cornell University Library’s Division of Rare and Manuscript Collections will host an open house on Saturday, and the signed proclamation will be on public display one more time before the exhibition closes the end of April.

While in the Carl A. Kroch Library we invite you to view the newly installed Now Scream! the Hip Hop Collection exhibition.

Curator tours will take place in the Hirshland Gallery:

Guided tour of the Emancipation Proclamation exhibition – 2:00 p.m.

Guided tour of the Hip Hop exhibition – 3:00 p.m.

The exhibitions are on view Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturdays, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on April 13, 20, 27; and closed on Sundays.
