Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County is hosting a one-hour long information session for any municipal leaders or community residents who may be interested in learning more about the Tree City USA program.

The one-hour webinar will cover the following topics:

· Economic Value of Trees in a Community

· Purpose of Tree City USA Program

· Benefits of becoming a Tree City USA Community

· Overview of Tree City USA standards

· Integrating the Tree City USA Standards into your Community Tree Program
