North Campus Sustainability Food & Film Series

Interested in sustainability topics?  Looking for a small gathering where you can learn, discuss, and gain new knowledge with knowledgeable faculty & staff facilitators?  Join us this Spring for a film series with catered dinner!  Attend one or all events.

All films start at 5pm in the Tatkon Center, Room 3330.
 

Sunday March 15th: Just Eat It
A 75-minute documentary film about food waste and food rescue by Peg Leg Films | https://www.foodwastemovie.com/

Join us on North Campus for a film screening and facilitated discussion on food waste, food rescue, and what we can do about it.  Dinner is provided with food from Bickering Twins.  Discussion is facilitated by Lori Leonard, Professor, Department of Development Sociology, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and North Campus Faculty in Residence for Mews. Lori Lenard will also be joined by Anna Ben-Shlomo, Sustainability Coordinator for Cornell Dining, and Shannon Appelquist, Director of Campus Outreach for the Food Recovery Network (FRN), a student group on campus that recovers food from Cornell Dining operations.
