Stories of Courage: Nonviolent Activism in our Upstate New York Community

Anya Stanger is the author of Incarcerated Resistance: How Identity, Gender, and Privilege Shape the Experiences of America's Nonviolent Activists, based on research she began as a graduate student at Syracuse University with nonviolent peace activists from the Central New York region. She teaches conflict studies at SU, and Women's and Gender Studies at Sierra College.
