Lecture: Nature Rx: the Benefits are Real

Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 12:00pm to 1:00pm

Brian C. Nevin Welcome Center
124 Comstock Knoll Road, Ithaca, NY 14850

Multiple studies have concluded that spending even a few hours each week in nature can improve mood, cognitive ability, alertness, ability to concentrate, social connection and overall sense of well-being. Nature Rx @Cornell is a dynamic and growing movement, represented by numerous individuals and units at the university, who have come together with a shared passion for the ways in which the natural beauty of our campus can positively impact every person's well-being. This presentation will include an overview of the Nature Rx program which includes the Nature Prescription program at Cornell Health.

This lecture is free and open to the public.
