Did you know every year, every third Sunday in August is National Honey Bee Day? This is a day of awareness when beekeepers, beekeeping clubs, and honey bee enthusiasts from across the U.S. celebrate honeybees and recognize their contribution to our everyday lives as a means of protecting this important and critical species. Join us at the nature center on August 17th at 10:00 a.m. to celebrate these hardworking pollinators, learn more about the importance of pollination, and try some honey from local farms. 

The fee for this program is only $4.00 per person with a family rate of $12.00. Children under the age of three are free!
