National 4-H Week 2023 is October 1-7! This a week where we celebrate 4-H and try to get more youth interested in participating in the world's largest youth development organization! This year we are offering programs each day of the week to showcase the four values of 4-H: Head, Heart, Hands and Health. Each of these values corresponds with life skills we teach through engaging youth in hands-on, 4-H activities. 

The events on Monday-Friday are being held at the CCE office, 203 N. Hamilton St. Watertown, NY from 5:30 - 6:30 PM. The event on Saturday is being held at 4-H Camp Wabasso, 43101 County Rd. 21 Redwood, NY from 10 AM - 3 PM. You can sign up for one, a couple, or all the events if you would like! These events are free and open to all youth ages 6-16.

Monday, October 2nd, 5:30-6:30PM @ CCE: pledge your head to clearer thinking! Join us on this day to learn critical thinking and problem solving skills. Activities include fun, hands-on engineering challenges! 

Tuesday, October 3rd, 5:30-6:30PM @ CCE: pledge your heart to greater loyalty! Join us on this day to learn communication and empathy skills. Activities include improvisation games and engineering “Crazy Contraptions!”

Wednesday, October 4th, 5:30-6:30PM @ CCE: pledge your hands to larger service! Join us on this day to learn teamwork and collaboration skills. Participate in a service project! Make treats to donate to the Jefferson County SPCA. Play fun teambuilding games.

Friday, October 6th, 5:30-6:30PM @ CCE: pledge your health to better living! Join us on this day to learn healthy lifestyle and stress management skills. Youth will make mindful jars and make (and eat!) healthy snacks!

Saturday, October 7th, 10 AM - 3PM @ 4-H Camp Wabasso: 4-H Sampler! Join us at 4-H Camp Wabasso in Redwood to try out some of the many activities 4-H has to offer. Youth will get to hike, do some arts and crafts projects, make English muffin pizzas, play rec games, and make banana boats over a fire! Lunch is provided. 

Please note that each day of the week does have limited spaces available. Within the registration you will be asked if your child will be participating in each day, if there is not a "yes" option, this means that the day is full.
