Nathan Mondry organ recital. “Around the Cantus Firmus.”  J. S. Bach’s Orgelbüchlein, along with Romantic and contemporary chorale-based works.

J.S. Bach’s Orgelbüchlein, a monumental collection of pedagogical and artistic value dedicated to Lutheran chorales, would prove highly influential for later organ composers. In addition to chorale preludes from Bach’s collection we will hear Romantic and contemporary chorale-based works, including Nathan’s own.
