About this Event
For National Nanotechnology Day, October 9th (10/9), the National
Nanotechnology Coordination Office sent out a challenge "How fast can YOUR MASCOT run 100 BILLION NANOMETERS???"
To the average person, that sounds like a lot of running, but 100 billion nanometers equals only 100 meters. So, the Cornell Mascot and the Harvard Mascot took up the challenge and this Saturday at some point during the football game (1:30p, Schoellkopf Field) they are running the whole length of the field along with a researcher (Isaiah Gray!) from the
Cornell NanoScale Science and Technology Facility who will be wearing a clean room suit.
CNF will also have a table at Barton Hall during dinner on Saturday. Please join us at the game on Saturday and cheer on Isaiah and nanotech!
