At this informal event, you will hear about unique moments of connection that members of our community have experienced in nature. Afterwards, you’ll have the chance to share your own moments of connection and strengthen your relationship with the natural world. A reception with light refreshments will follow.

This event is part of a student project also called “Moments of Connection,” created by Katie Rueff ’27, a member of our student Garden Ambassadors Team. Through this project, Katie’s aim is to collect and share different personal stories and reflections on nature to foster a deeper sense of connection with the Earth.  Often, people feel disconnected from the “natural” world because they live with a narrow definition of what the “natural” world is. Therefore, through this project our goal is to challenge people’s perceptions of the “natural” world, encouraging them to broaden their definition and discover their connections to the Earth.

Admission is free but pre-registration is required as space is limited.

Location:  Nevin Welcome Center
