About this Event
Come stitch a panel and discuss the Johnson’s contemporary art exhibition, how the light gets in, centered on human im/migration. Insomnia Cookies will be served for participants. No sewing experience required.
The Johnson Museum Club and Student Educators are participating in the 25 Million Stitches project conceived of and organized by Sacramento-based artist, Jennifer Kim Sohn. Her two objectives are to engage as many participants to raise awareness of this global refugee crisis as possible and to amass 25 million stitches to visually represent the sheer volume of refugees displaced around the globe.
