Milstein Students' Sound Master Class: Recording the Human Voice with "The World According to Sound" Podcasters, Chris Hoff and Sam Hartnett

Chris Hoff is public radio sound engineer at KALW, and Sam Hartness a reporter at KQED and Marketplace. Living in San Francisco for 10 and 8 years, respectively. they get together with other "audio nerds" once a month to play weird stuff they've been working on––like a piece of audio on Homeric similes, or a strange interview with SF's most famous protestor, Frank Chu. or Orson Welles' "War of the Worlds.

Students in the Milstien Program in Technology & Humanity will learn how to record the human voice in this special sound Master Class.
