An informal panel discussion about finding opportunities, interviewing, and thriving at internships in the technology field.

Reza Madhavan, a Computer Science & Asian Studies double major, interned at Amazon Web Services this summer working on the  CloudFormation team, a tool that allows customers to make templates for their cloud infrastructure to make it easier to track changes and replicate the infrastructure in different regions. He built an internal debugging tool that helps on-call engineers quickly identify issues in external customers' template stacks. Reza will start in a full-time position with Amazon in Jersey City starting in August.

Catie Rencricca, a Computer Science major,  spent this past summer in Incline Village, NV (near Lake Tahoe) working as a product engineering intern for Ridgeline. She joined the user interface team and spent the summer building keyboard shortcuts for the Ridgeline product. Next year, she will be returning to work for Ridgeline at their NYC office location as a full-time product engineer.

Jasper Weed, a Data Sciences & Philosophy double major, interned with Capital One as a Business Analyst where he met with stakeholder  groups to understand existing complaints-mitigation efforts and generate recommendations for improving customer experience to US Card leadership. 

Chloe Kanders, an Information Science major, worked at American Express last summer as a product management intern where she created a product roadmap for a data analytics dashboard in Credit & Fraud Risk. She will be returning to American Express next summer after graduation to continue her work in product management
