Mike Lee, piano. “Chopin: The Four Scherzi”: With spoken commentary and accompanying visuals, Mike Lee offers four tableaux of Chopin’s life anchored by the composer’s four Scherzi, a form which Chopin personalized into epic narratives and which span the length of his compositional career. The event will feature the newly restored 1843 Pleyel piano.
