Migrations: Understanding the Implications of a World on the Move

About this Event
In 2019, the University launched its first Global Grand Challenge with a focus on the unprecedented increase in the movement of people, plants, animals and microbes across the globe. Recent experience with COVID-19 illustrates the importance of a multi-species, multi-disciplinary perspective on migration.
Researchers participating in the challenge will present their work in the fields of law, history, ecology, public health and economics.
