Migrations Initiative Seminar Series

Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 12:00pm to 1:30pm

Uris , G08

Join us for our next installment of the Lunchtime Seminar Series of the Migrations Initiative!

We will have two faculty speakers with us to discuss the topic of migrations from different perspectives.

Faculty speakers:

Ian Kysel | Visiting Assistant Clinical Professor of Law

"Promoting an International Migrants Bill of Rights: Opportunities and Challenges"

Andrew Farnsworth | Research Associate, Information Science, Lab of Ornithology

"BirdCast: intersecting human, avian, and machine perspectives of life on the move... in the sky"

The Migrations Initiative at Cornell University aims to cultivate collaborations that advance science, scholarship, teaching, outreach, and engagement in ways that generate new insights into critical problems. We wish to provide a stronger evidentiary basis for policy and to place Cornell University at the forefront of migration studies around the world.
