Join the Cornell Club to serve lunch at the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
The Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired has been providing vision rehabilitation and health services to people of all ages for over 80 years. The organization, comprised of a diverse and dynamic group of volunteers, promotes independence while collaborating and educating professionals and conducting research in related fields. From 2004 to 2012, the organization has grown from 487 clients served to 9,349, providing programs that allow disadvantaged children to get prescription glasses free of charge, life enrichment classes, braille lessons, and services that allow children and adults to acquire the skills necessary to live independently.
