“Megaligna” or “Giant Wood” is an exhibition of new sculptural works by Professor Jack Elliott.  This show features large sculpted tree forms disciplined through simple planar cuts.  Continuing with the theme of balance and the human/nature relationship, these new pieces reference ideas of the body as well as those of the mind, of singularity and plurality. The composition/arrangement of the pieces will change over the course of the exhibition, to explore the variety of expressions available through these simple gestures.
