Dear Arts and Sciences Alumni and Friends,
Gretchen Ritter, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences , and I are looking forward to our first visit to the United Kingdom in a few weeks. As you may know, Dean Ritter (Class of ’83) is the first graduate of the college to take this leadership role, having begun her time as dean just over one year ago. It’s been an exhilarating week for the entire Cornell community as we learn about Cornell’s 13th president, Elizabeth Garrett . Dean Ritter and I are excited to share news from campus and get to know the growing Cornell community in London.
