About this Event
Rescheduled from March 2o2o, "Materiality / Immateriality" is the first of five panel discussions comprising Media Objects, a conference organized by the Media Studies Initiative. The conference represents Cornell's distinctive approaches to the study of media, which are historically extensive and strongly interdisciplinary.
Each panel comprises five ten-minute presentations, each on a particular material or discursive media object, and brings together faculty, graduate students, curators, and librarians from across the Cornell community. Ample time will be reserved for panel and audience discussion following the presentations.
