Matías de Roux's DMA recital will feature selected movements from his dissertation, Bestiary—a suite inspired by creatures from medieval bestiaries, scored for piano, whistles, toys, and DIY instruments—alongside an ensemble work composed specifically for Sage Chapel. Performers include Ariel Mo (piano and DIY instruments) and musicians from the Experimental Sound Project (ESP).
