Making it at the Library: 3D Printing and Other Production Technologies at Cornell University Library

Friday, June 9, 2017 at 11:30am to 2:00pm

Mann Library, Lobby
Cornell University Mann Library, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY 14853, USA

The library has always been a place where new ideas are produced. But what about new technologies that enable the production of physical things?  Cornell University Library has been investing in technologies to enable our patrons to do just that at the MannYOUfacture makerspace (http://guides.library.cornell.edu/makerspaces). Come and experience 3D printing, 3D scanning and other tools that allow patrons to, almost literally, make their ideas leap off the page.

Refreshments served.
