Cathy Caruth’s Unclaimed Experience: Trauma, Narrative, and History, first published in 1996, celebrated its 20th anniversary last year. To mark the occasion, Theory Reading Group will host a conference entitled, “Listening to Trauma,” which brings together Caruth’s past students and colleagues whose work has been influenced by her two decades of teaching and writing about trauma. For more information please contact the co-organizers Nasrin Olla & Elizabeth Wijaya at theory@cornell.edu
