Exploding Black Holes Beyond the Standard Model

Observation of an exploding black hole would be transformative in many ways.  It would provide the first direct evidence of primordial black holes, the first direct evidence of Hawking radiation, definitive information on the particles present in nature and provide a new probe of early universe physics.  We discuss what a realistic observation could teach us about the particles present in nature and demonstrate that it is plausible to think that we may observe an exploding primordial black hole in the near future.  Finally, we will see that the 100 PeV neutrino event observed by KM3NeT could be the first observation of an exploding black hole, and that it is consistent with black holes making up 100% of dark matter.
