PIP-II is a major upgrade of the Fermilab accelerator complex. At its core is the installation of a new 800 MeV Superconducting RF linac that uses beyond state-of-the-art cavities integrated into next-generation cryomodules. Moreover, the project is updating the Booster, Main Injector, and Recycler to enable 20 Hz operation and ultimately provide beam to LBNF/DUNE. The project has just entered the installation phase, and the warm frontend component commissioning is planned to begin before the end of the calendar year. Meanwhile, the SRF international team is qualifying three cryomodule assembly facilities at Fermilab, CEA, and UKRI, where full production is planned to begin in 2027.
