Edward Sullivan, the Helen Gould Sheppard Professor in the History of Art at New York University, will speak about "The Lure of the Caribbean: Francisco Oller and His Transatlantic World" in conjunction with a multidisciplinary interpretive project examining the Johnson’s View of Roseau Valley, Island of Dominica, showing Africans, Carib Indians, and Creole Planters by the Italian painter Agostino Brunias (ca. 1730–1796).

The Museum is open Thursdays until 7:30 p.m. (through May 10).
