Title: Using nonlinear optics to generate quantum states of light
Abstract: I will give an introduction to nonlinear optics and how it can be used to influence vacuum noise for use in quantum optics. Following this I will describe experiments performed in our lab that use nonlinear optical crystals to generate squeezed vacuum light and to manipulate the entanglement correlations of photons therein.
