Title: Transport in Ultracold Atom Quantum Simulators
Abstract: Recent advances in the trapping, cooling, manipulation and imaging of ultracold atoms have brought genuine quantum simulation within reach. In this talk, I will discuss the building blocks of these experiments and how they have been used to study charge transport in a model of strongly-correlated fermions. I will then explain how we modeled this system and what our conclusions imply for future experiments.
