LASP Colombian Path to Peace-Port of Destiny: Peace, Film 6pm, Panel 7pm

This LASP Public Issues Forum event will include a 6pm showing of the new film Port of Destiny: Peace, the story of the former colombian president, Juan Manuel Santos', work towards a path to peace for his country. Following the film there will be a panel of 3 Cornell Professors who will discuss and take questions and answers regarding both the film and the work of peace and reconciliation.  Panelists are: Sandra Karim, Assistant Professor of Government, specialist in civl wards and international peacekeeping, Carlos Mesa, Colombian graduate student in City and Regional Planning, and Muna Ndulo, Professor of Law who participated in the peace process in Colombia.
