Juneteenth with DIP & Science Blender - A Reflection on Sustained Action

Friday, June 18, 2021 at 1:00pm

Virtual Event

Over the past year, the Science Blender team has interviewed a number of our Black colleagues at Cornell as they discuss their experiences with race both on the campus and throughout their academic journey in the wake of the police brutality and subsequent protests of 2020. To mark Juneteenth this year, DIP and Science Blender welcome you to join a collective listening and reflection of some of these interviews to reflect honestly on our efforts as a community over the past year in addressing systemic bias, and discuss strategies for sustaining allyship and inclusionary efforts in the future.
