DESCRIPTION:The  Cornell Institute for China Economic Research (CICER) brin
 gs together scholars from Cornell and elsewhere to conduct cutting-edge ec
 onomic research and understand the most important socio-economic issues in
  China and their global impact. The Emerging Markets Institute (EMI) provi
 des thought leadership on the role of emerging markets - and emerging mark
 et multinationals - in the global economy.\n\nThis workshop that is co-hos
 ted by CICER and EMI will feature research presentations and panel discuss
 ion with prominent scholars on critical issues in emerging markets. It ser
 ves as a platform for researchers\, faculty and PhD students who are inter
 ested in sharing knowledge\, presenting their research and ideas\, and get
 ting feedback from their peers. There will also be a keynote speech by Xia
 obo Zhang (Professor at Beijing University and Senior Research Fellow at I
 FPRI) during the workshop. (Note: video streaming capability is available
