Jerry Mischak's work utilizes humble and accessible material — they are investigations that reference the body and its environment. His drawings to date refer to social interactions and geographical locations. Physically they explore the interaction between form, line, and illusion, while in part the motivation is to develop a dialogue that eventually can be translated into larger works. There is a historical art connection to "Arte Povera" within most of his pieces whether they are installations, sculptures, works on paper, or paintings.

Curated by Elisabeth Meyer. Sponsored by the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning
