About this Event
480 North Main Street, Canandaigua, NY 14424
https://reg.cce.cornell.edu/Itsnottoolatemay2019_232In anticipation of a busy summer season, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ontario County is hosting a workshop “It’s Not Too Late for Summer” to help develop your visual storytelling, marketing plan, social media accounts, and attract more customers. It is your opportunity to ask questions to a freelance journalist and leave with a marketing plan.
Join Matt Kelly, freelance journalist and writer for Edible Finger Lakes, in a session on visual branding and media pitching focused on farms and agritourism. The second half of the evening will be with Pilar McKay, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ontario County, who will help you set your marketing goal, choose tactics, and develop your plan – which you will create and take with you at the end of the night.
This workshop is meant to be interactive and an open space for you to ask marketing questions you may have been either too afraid to ask or been waiting to talk to an expert about.
The event is $15 and includes educational materials, snacks, and beverages. High School Students and 4-H Club members are welcomed if they accompany a registered guest.
