Benjamin Page (Political Science, Northwestern) will describe ways in which American democracy has gone wrong, highlighting the relationship between economic and political inequality, and propose reforms that are needed and how to achieve them, ascribing an important role to a social movement along the lines of the Populists and the Progressives.
