Join us for a symposium at Cornell University in Ithaca on December 12-13, 2024, for a series of talks, panel discussions, and grant writing workshops. The Immersive Media in Medicine Symposium will bring together medical professionals, human-computer interaction researchers, and experts from related fields to present current projects and works in progress using virtual, augmented, and mixed reality for medical education, patient care, and more. Hosted at the Cornell Ithaca campus, this symposium is helmed by co-directors Dr. JoAnn Difede, Professor of Psychology in Psychiatry and Director of the Program for Anxiety and Traumatic Stress Studies (PATSS) at WCM, and Dr. Andrea Stevenson Won, Associate Professor in the Department of Communication and Director of the Virtual Embodiment Lab at the Cornell Ithaca campus.
