CU First-years and sophomores from ANY college on campus: Considering a major or minor in a humanities field? Seeking a community of scholars with diverse humanities interests? Interested in completing a senior research project on a topic of your choosing? If so, come to the Humanities Scholars Program (HSP) Fall Open House!

HSP Faculty Director, Professor Verity Platt (https://classics.cornell.edu/verity-platt), will host this informal open house for students to learn about the A&S Humanities Scholars Program (https://as.cornell.edu/research/humanities-scholars-program). Briefly, HSP is a two-year program housed in the Society for the Humanities (A.D. White House) that offers support for humanities majors/minors, guidance on independent senior research projects, curated courses, funding for research and internships, and cohort-building activities.

Stop by any time between 4:30 and 6:00p.m. to chat with HSP faculty and staff. Autumnal snacks and refreshments will be provided. While you're here, take a break and decorate a pumpkin to take home!

This event is only open to the Cornell community.
