Virtual Event
A virtual conference featuring outstanding Cornell undergraduate student research in various humanities fields, student panel discussions, and oral presentations of student papers. Q&A will be moderated by Professor Durba Ghosh, Director, Humanities Scholars Program, along with additional faculty and postdoctoral fellow respondents. Join in and pose your own questions to the student presenters!
This event will celebrate the completion of the inaugural year of the Arts & Sciences Humanities Scholars Program by featuring juniors from the Humanities Research Methods course (SHUM 3750) presenting their class projects.
The virtual conference will consist of brief undergraduate presentations (pre-recorded) followed by live Q&A, unfolding over the course of two sessions: 4:30-7:45pm on Thursday, May 6, and 3-6pm on Friday, May 7. Provost Michael Kotlikoff will open the conference with welcome remarks on Thursday, May 6, at 4:30pm.
