Preparing for and taking a test can produce a physiological response of stress and overwhelm for students. Some may even experience such a heightened amount of anxiety they begin to panic during an examination. If this is something you are familiar with, a member of the Student Disability Services (SDS) staff will be hosting a session to help students learn how to use their breath to calm their nerves, quiet their anxiety, and learn how to partner with their stress to become a more peaceful test taker. We will practice breathing exercises as well as visual meditation and physical mindfulness to work through indicators of testing anxiety. No prior experience with breathwork or meditation necessary.

Registration is required to attend.
