Take a slow walk round Cornell Botanic Gardens with Plant Physiology Professor Emeritus, Peter Davies, looking at plants to see how they function and grow. Topics will include seed germination, bud growth, leaf function, including water loss and photosynthesis, sugar transport, the response to light, and flowering.  Bring a hand lens if you have one. Walk will be held rain or shine and will possibly include some stairs.
