Hope: The Pilgrim’s Virtue

A Thomistic Institute Lecture

Physical Sciences Building Room 120

Thursday, February 29th @ 6 pm

The Cornell chapter of the Thomistic Institute invites you to a lecture by Dr. Michael Wahl (Providence College) on the theological virtue of hope! You may not be used to thinking of hope as a virtue - in fact, that might sound a bit strange. The Christian intellectual tradition, however, stubbornly insists that there is a kind of hope that belongs to this category. Along with faith and love, hope is one of the three theological virtues. Come explore with us what this all means and how it might impact the way that we view our lives and the world! The lecture will be followed by a reception with the speaker to continue the conversation.
