Historic Trees of Cornell

Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 7:00pm to 8:00pm

Brian C. Nevin Welcome Center
124 Comstock Knoll Road, Ithaca, NY 14850

Join us for this special tour of the Cornell Ag Quad, focusing on significant trees as they relate to Cornell history.  Each tree will take us back in time, reflecting on Cornell’s colorful past. There will also be a hands-on demonstration of a non-invasive method for approximating the ages of trees. Come celebrate the beginning of Summer, while reflecting on the role that historical trees play in our landscape.  Tour will be held rain or shine; please dress for the weather.

Fee: Free but pre-registration is required.  Donations welcome.

Instructor:  Jenna Zier ’23, MPS, Public Garden Leadership.

Location: Meet at the Nevin Welcome Center.  We will walk from there to the Ag Quad. Parking is free at the Welcome Center after 5:00 pm.
