Drug store shelves are stocked with hundreds of over-the-counter medicines that treat flu and cold symptoms. But nature has produced a nearly endless array of botanical remedies that civilizations have used for thousands of years. Many of these botanical remedies are inexpensive, readily available and just as effective. Join CCE Educator Colleen Cavagna and Master Gardener Deb MacCrea for an informative workshop about the use of homemade herbal remedies; including immune boosting syrups, cough syrups, chest rubs, decongestants, teas, and foot rubs. Participants will make some recipes and sample others.

Pre-registration is required, space is limited so sign up soon.
