Hangeul Truck at Cornell: Experience Korea’s Alphabet Through Art & Participation

The Korean Cultural Center New York presents the Hangeul Truck Project, a traveling public art event that celebrates the Korean alphabet, Hangeul, through interactive activities and creative expression. As part of its East Coast Ivy League campus tour, the Hangeul Truck will visit Cornell University on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.

Designed by artist Ik-Joong Kang, the truck features large-scale Hangeul-inspired artwork and a digital LED media wall displaying participants’ messages in real time. Visitors will be invited to engage with the beauty and creativity of Korea’s unique writing system through a variety of hands-on experiences.
