In April of 2013, the collapse of the Rana Plaza building in Dhaka, Bangladesh killed over 1,100 garment workers and injured thousands more. Ten years later, this tragedy remains a catalyst for worker rights activism and widespread demands for reform in the fashion industry. Through the end of May, an installation commemorating this event will appear in the HEB Level 1 exhibition cases. This work features an array of art, books, and information on how to get involved with global calls for accountability.

Funding for this exhibit was provided by Cornell Council for the Arts.
