Every December, Risley Residential College for the Creative and Performing Arts holds one of its most iconic and beloved events of the year: a full and open reading of George Frideric Handel’s Messiah.

This event draws all sorts of members from the Cornell and Ithaca communities (as well as beyond) to come together to perform the piece in Risley’s Great Hall, a tradition of the last 40+ years. You can participate in its production, be a part of the chorus, or simply watch. People of all backgrounds are warmly welcome!

This year's performance will be on Sunday, December 8th at 1pm, followed by a small reception.
