Cornell University

The Ithaca Shakespeare Company presents Shakespeare’s most famous play in rotating repertory with one of his most exuberant comedies on the beautiful wooded grounds of Cornell Plantations.

Revenge, murder, ghosts, madness, wicked humor, swordfights, the most complex dramatic character of all time, a celebration of the art of acting, and the most famous speech ever written…

In "Love's Labour's Lost," a king and three of his lords match wits and wiles with a princess and three of her ladies, while a gallery of comic characters woo, fight, put on a play, and generally make fools of themselves. A funny, light, romantic comedy with a surprise ending that you won't see coming.

“Hamlet” will be presented on July 10, 12, 18, 20, 24, and 26. “Love’s Labour’s Lost” will be presented on July 11, 13, 17, 19, 25. All shows at 6 pm in the F.R. Newman Arboretum at Cornell Plantations.
