Join Horticulture Educator Carla Crim for an in-person presentation about growing vegetables and flowers from seed. We will cover the entire process from shopping for seeds to setting starts out in the garden. Participants will be given area-specific planting timetables and plans for a compact, inexpensive light bank. Soil blocking and winter sowing will be demonstrated. A selection of free seeds (including AAS winners) will be available. Bring your questions and ideas! The fee is $5 and space is limited to 25 participants.
