Hello, It was a great program. However, the use of all the plastic and non-biodegradable products that were used for the breakfast was rather disappointing. Cornell is trying to set the scene for sustainability, yet this was definitely not reflected at the event yesterday. I would also recommend having clearly labeled recycling bins and compost bins (for all the banana peels). The use of non-reusable plastic is still very much ingrained in the daily life at Cornell, something that needs to be addressed if Cornell wants to be a leader in sustainability.
